Laila Rezwi is the Social Work Intern for the Center for Student Advocacy and Wellness (CSAW). In this role, Laila works alongside the Assistant Directors of Wellness and Substance Use Prevention through providing Wellness Coaching and BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening Intervention for College Students) support sessions. Furthermore, Laila actively collaborates and participates in CSAW's various programming, outreach, and support services offered to students.
Laila is currently pursuing a master's degree in social work at the University of Chicago. Laila graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Psychology with minors in Social Work and Sociology in May 2026. Before joining CSAW's team, Laila was heavily involved in community-based mental health advocacy, leading wellness initiatives, civic engagement, community organizing, and non-profit work in Pittsburgh.
In her free time, Laila enjoys watching the sunset, running, practicing yoga, journaling, and spending time in the kitchen cooking or baking.
